Yesterday was picnic day! One of the bad things about winding down our time here in Norway is that when we decide to do something, we had better do it. There aren't many options to re-schedule. So with some rain coming down, the temperature at its usual 45 degrees we were off and running. We had a backpack full of supplies and a destination. After travelling hundreds of yards loaded down with sandwiches we arrived at the previously blogged location down the tractor path and onto the rocks. We had decided on our last visit that it would be fun to have a picnic there and darn it we were gonna have fun. The rain stopped as soon as we arrived and the rocks were keeping the wind away, so it turned out to be a good decision. The kids had a great time climbing on the rocks and "cave exploring". I don't have any witty comments, funny asides, or introspective thoughts. Just noting our fun picnic day. This probably won't make it into the published book when my writing is discovered, so consider yourselves "behind the scenes". We do have a couple of pictures for your viewing pleasure.
