Normal? hah!

We have to go out and do normal people stuff today in anticipation of travelling on Sunday to go pick up Jen’s mom. Everyone is looking forward to her visit and we are hoping this place is her cup of tea. This means grocery shopping, cleaning, mowing, and the dreaded haircut in another country. Let’s see what color Sam’s hair comes out this time. We had another fun day yesterday, riding to the coast to see the beach. The beach here is enormous. We came over the berm to view the beach, then decided to walk to the water…..it seemed like it took a week to walk from the edge to the water. What was I rewarded with? Freezing cold water. I’m not crazy, I pretty much expected it to be cold, but this was COLD!

We have to drive to Brussels on Sunday to get Linda, so it’s back to Belgium.

Larry info.

Talked to both mom and dad the other day and things are pretty good. They went to the pulmonary doctor to try to deal with a cough and the doctor is putting him on a couple month supply of prednisone. I think this is to try to keep any lung scarring from getting worse. He has some lung issue, I think from the chemo. Mom will have to type what it is and we can all scurry off to look it up. It involves the word “interstitial” if you want to get a head start. For a blog that is supposed to supply information about the guy it is named after, I’m not doing a very good job.
